A number of the teachers of Leflore county met last Saturday at the courthouse and organized a County Teachers' Association. The following officers were elected: J. D. Rucker, of Itta Bena, president; L. S. Rogers, of Schlater, vice-president; Miss Ray Wynne, of Minter City, secretary treasurer. Several committees I were appointed and much inter est was shown in the meeting.
