We are deeply pained to learn of the death of Col. Wilson, of the 12th Infantry. He was represented to us by the last arri val as convalescent, but he died the even ing of the 12th inst. The company ofCapt. Haile, of the Llfh Infantry, reached Vera Cruz on the 12th inst., was immediately armed and left the same evening for the scene of action. There had been no further arrival from C.e train, which was deemed a good omen. No further courier has arrived at Vera Cruz from Puehla.
