He has been for several years engaged in the pre
fiaralioo of thia valuable merlirine, and in ad-minixterina-
it to his afflicted neisbbors and friends.

MAGEE'S LINIMENT OF LIFE.
This Liniment ia unsurpassed for the cure of the
following complaints, to wit: Sciatic, or Hirjoint
disease. 'White Swelling, Rheumatism, Erysype-
las, Ring-worm, Tetter-worm, and all diseases of
in skin; swelled joints, ana an umamatory aweu
logs, ulcers, bolls, scald-head, burns and sealds,
scrofulous disease and king's evil: and in short, for
every disease where any external application can
afford relief. It has cured disease which seemed
almost miraculous, among which are snake bites,
cramp eholic, mortification, palsey inflamed kid
neys, itch, &e. &. It would require too much
aooea to enumerate all the enrss for which it has
afforded relief, or to give minute directions for eve
ry ease, but in general, observe the following

three times a day, steaming; it wiih a hot Iron when
uraeticable. or heat it before tbe fire. Keep dry
and warm, avoidintr getting wet, or taking cold as
much as possible. For some diseases, a particular
attention is required, and the as of a salve pre

Dr. John Magee, Sir: This is to certify that in
the rear 1848, 1 was taken with the Rheuma
tism in my shoulder, I applied to Dr. John Ma
gee, and got some of his Liniment and applied
it to my shoulder three times,and it was entirely
easy. I also state that I had a negro taken with
the Cramn Cholic. and I nibbed him with some
of yonr Liniment, and before we were done ba
thing him. he said he was entirely easy. I also
anntied it to one of mv sons in the same condi
tion. with the same effect I believe it to be
one of the best Liniments now in use, for all sorts
of risings and fellon.
