first day at as close a price as any one will possibly
give you after a sale has run for weeks or months.
When we advertise a sale it means that we spend
money on it, prepare for it, get the goods out so you
can see them, price them so all know what they are
going to cost also that our sale means everything in
the house goes on sale at a price and that there is no
limit; buy one article or one hundred. To us, from
the fact that we can sell thousands of dollars' worth
of goods during the 13 days, and we do not have to
prolong a big expense account by continuing a sale
week in and week out to try and convince you whether
