A new gymnasium and club hous

forbidden to use tobacco in any form
on the grounds or in the buildings of

The honor system in use at the Uni
versity of Mississippi is a failure in

given as one of the reasons while
another reason is the slip shod man
agement of the faculty
The annual sophomore freshmen
pushball contest at the University of
Iowa was won by the sophomores The
contest is divided into three parts

last part is a free for all The soph
oniores won the first two contests and
the freshmen the free for all
The Minnesota Daily says that th
business men of Minneapolis are be
coming alarmed at the constant ru
mors of wholesale cheating and crib
bing in universities and colleges dur
ing examinations Year by year an
increasing number of business men
are drawn from the universities The
Minnesota business men need not
waste time worrying over the product

Professor Waller Magee physical

fornia says that the American women
mutilate their feet more than do Chi
nese women Mrs Magee has charge
of the physical work for women Prof

make public their opinion that the
system of public school vacation is all
wrong They think pupils should be
paroled whenever they can prove they
need a rest either in summer or win

to freshmen They then tried to make
a count of the number seen on the

followed the example of the Univer
sity of Chicago arid have started a
students bank as a branch or student
activities The bank is connected
with the1 pursers office and pays no
