BILLIKENS COVT 0 WINNING SATURDAY According to the St. Louis papers. Mis souri is expecting to annex the Valley championship again and considers Sat urdays contest with the Billikens in the light of a practice scrimmage. The fact is Coach Miller is not issuing statements which radiate with optimism and the Tigers do not believe Saturday's game will be a practice scrimmage. What the) do believe is that St. Louis is count ing on winning and will go to any lengths to take the long end of the score. If the game Saturday can be judged by the Bilhken Rose Poly battle there Kill be an excellent opportunity for the "brass knuckled artists" to star. One account of the game reads, "The play became so rough that fist fights would have been in order had not officials in terfered. Several parties to the "rough houe' affairs were banished during the waning moments of the contest." Webb, Billikcr. halfback, was one of the chief offenders in this regard.
