World's Fair Guessing Contest:
"Will begin Saturday morning, March 20, and close at night, Jinn1 .'50, 1!K)4, and the person guessing nearest the number of locn eggs we buy on and between
these dates, we will furnish a free Iron Mountain liailroad ticket from Jackson to St. Lou'ih and return, and allow said person ..ot) a day fur five days' expensen while at
the fair.
Second nearest will bo furnished a free Iron Mountain Railroad ticket from Jackson to St. Lotus ami return and fl.oo a day for five days' excuses.
Third nearest will receive a free Iron Mountain Uailroad ticket from Jackson to St. Louis and return.
Fourth nearest will receive $.'5.00 worth of Merchandise at our store.
Fifth nearest will receive $2.00 worth of merchandise at our store.
HULKS: Each person will be allowed one guess for each titty cents' worth of goods purchased nt our store. Thomas McFarlaud Mill keep a correct account
of eggs bought, and. no information will le given out. Uueesss will be placed in a box ami not opened until July 1, when tliey will be examined by Alvin Uoss and Thomas
McFarlaud and prizes awarded. Winning nurnlers will le published twenty days and if no one claims wimo the next nearest will receive it. Those winning trips to the
fair can visit the fair any time after July 'JO. No jerson will receive a prize until all are claimed. In case of a tie the prize will be divided equally. Anyone winning can
transfer or Bell name to anyone else if they chose. No prizes will be paid only as stated. No person connected with the store or their families will be allowed to guess.
For the benefit of those wishing; to guess wiLl state that during the week beginning March 7 and ending March 12, l'.01, we bought 2121 dozen eggs.

tuning pianos here for two weeks,
will go to the Cape Monday to
tune some pianos for his old pa
trons, but expects to return to
Jackson before he goes home. If

burg tuned twelve hundred last
year, and has already tuned
thirty on this trip.
