We need leaders in politics as well as elsewhere, but not boss-1 cs. The Republicans of this coun ty should elect a full county tick et this year. With a full vote. Missouri should elect a Republican house. This is essential, that the redis ricting of the State may be properly done. Proper management and square dealing can make the Republic ans win in this county this year, but everything must be rightly handled if we wish success. Los Angeles. Cal., is now a city ruled by her citizens. Doss ism has been dethroned. Boss ism is becoming repugnant to the American people everywhere. Rumors of candidates for the county offices are coming thick and fast, but as yet no one knows just what will happen. The field is clear, the track ready, and anybody may run. Get in the ring, if you want office, and let the people size you up! H The Republicans of this dis- trict are called to meet at Cape Girardeau on January 25th for the purpose of organizing a Re publican Club of Southeast Mis souri. This is a good move nothing wins like organization. The Scriptures say: "To him that hath shall be given, and to him that hath not even what he has shall be taken away." The people are acting on this plan in nearly every business. They seem to be willing to help those who need no help. Well, we suppose this is all right, for they have read that other passage which says: "The poor ye have with you always." Oak Ridge Items Health good here, except for colds.
