EMERGENCY CALL
SESSION OF THE STOCKHOLDERS OF THE SUPPLY STORE
CARUTHERSViLLE, MO.
Owing to the fact that trade generally has been very much retarded by in
clement weather and other conditions this season, and further to the fact that said
company made large preparations for trade, which has not materialized, and that
their stock is excessive at present, and that maturing obligations must be met, there
has been an emergency session called to devise ways and means.
Be it known, That on the 5th day of June the share holders met in session and
unanimously ordered that said company throw on the market their most elegant
stock of clean, new and high-class merchandise at such prices as will induce the pub
lic to take advantage of the offer. Be it further kno wny that this stock will be unre
servedly opened to the public at such prices as will raise the necessary funds, and
do it quick;
It was therefore ordered, That the manager open the doors to the public on
Friday, the nth day of June, 1909, and continue so to do each day thereafter until the
stock is disposed of or at a meeting such emergency proceedings shall be ordered
abated;
It is further ordered, That in order to inform all the people of this rare offering,
same shall be published in papers of this and surrounding towns, with prices quoted
in good bold type, it being the desire of the share holders that this opportunity shall
reach out to the public at large.
This the 7th day of June, 1909.
