The Hun garian War Commissary issued a proclamation to the population of Bud apest warning them to discontinue the pogrom agitation, which has recently been carried on there. The proclama tion states that if the agitation docs not stop within 48 hours he would take steps to put an end to it. Everyone caught with anti-Semitic literature will be court-martialed and shot without much procedure. Copenhagen, (By I. J .P. B.) The Ukrainians raid Galician border towns, capture Jewish assimilators, take them along back into Ukraini and revenge themselves for their pe tition, which the assimilators sent to the Peace Conference, asking that Galicia be annexed to Poland.
