Regular quarterly meeting of the County Commissioners of Golden Val ley County, 9 a. m. April 7, 1913. Meeting called to order: Present: Chairman A. J. O'Keefe, O. C. Kuche man and E. Egan. Minutes of meetings of January 6 to March 6, read and approved, except that part of the minutes of March 3rd, wherein the Chairman of the board of county commlissioners was authorized to eater into a contract with the Pauly Jail Company. Adding thereto that the proposition of in creasing the size in the specifications was made necessary in order to com ply with the law. Also the minutes of February 4th, wherein a motion was made appointing Commissioners O'Keefe and Egan a committee to at tend the commissioner's meeting at Jamestown, North Dakota, that the same be expunged from the record. 12 noon adjourned to meet at 2 p. m. 2 p. m1. Present A. J. O'Keefe, O. C. Kucheman and E. Egan. Moved and seconded that the bids for the Tests Weights and Measures be open ed, which resulted as follows:—A. N. Eliason, $237.35, Butte Hardware Company, $218., Overstad & Hover son, $220 Lovell Bros., $222. Moved that the bid of Butte Hardware Com pany for test weights and measures be accepted, the same being the low est and best bid. Roll call. Egan, aye O'Keefe, aye and Kucheman, aye. Carried. The following resolution was offered and adopted: Resolution—Be it resolv ed by the Board of County Commis sioners of Golden Valley County in regular session assembled this 7th day of April, 1913, that pursuant to the provision of the laws of the Stite of North Dakota, as amended by Chapter 127 of the session laws of 1909, we do hereby name and design ate the following places in Coldest Valley County, as Public Market Places for the sale of chattels to ha sold under the chattel mortgage fore closure laws of this state to-wit: At the front door of the Court house, in the City of Beach, in said County, and in front of the Post Offices in the following places: Sentinel Butte, Bur key and Trotters. And in front of the school house known as the Stecker school house. Situated in section 2. township 142, Range 105, in said county. Resolution adopted. The following resolution was offer ed by Commissioner Egan. it appear ing that the unorganized congressional townships of Golden Valley County, wherein the county commissioners at their regular session on January 8, 1913, designated the following places in said unorganized townships. But in so doing failed to name same, there fore be it resolved: The following vot ing places so designated shall be named as follows: Township 144, Ranges 103, 104, 105 the Hubbard school house. The southeast corners of 19 township 144, range 104, to be designated as the Hubbard precinct. Township 143, ranges 103, 104, 105 the Mosher school house. The southeast corner of 27, township 143, range 104, be designated as the Mosher precinct. Township 141, range 103, the J. S. Snider ranch. The northwest corner of section 29, township 141, range 103 to be designated as the Snider precinct. Township 137, range 103 and township 138, ranges 103 and 104 the Strnhon school hous*. The southeast quarter of section 26, township 138, range 104, be designat ed as the Stoddard precinct. Town ship I36„ range 103, Williams Post Office. The northwest quarter of sec tion 6, township 136, range 105 be designated as the Williams precinct. Resolution adopted. The monthly report for the Register of Deeds for the months of January, February and March, for the Auditor, Clerk of the District Court, County Judge, for the months of January, Feb ruary and March, were presented and accepted and ordered filed. 6 p. Sperry, asses sor in the First Commissioner's dis trict, J. S. Snider, the assessor in the Second commissioner's district and E. A. The quarterly report of Justice Frank Fitzgerald was presented, ac cepted and ordered filed. Moved and seconded that the lease entered irtj by Chairman A. J. O'Keefe tor the county jail purpose, at the ium of $30 per month be ac cepted, approved and ordered filed. Motion carried. The applicattion of Martin Sach meister for partial relief in the sum of ten dollars per month, to be paid on approval and certification of the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Lone Tree township was presented. D. 1913, between the hours of 9 o'clock in the forenoon of such day (and' four o'clock in the afternoon of such day for the purpose of determining whether such territory •kail be an incorporated village, as provided by law. The qualified voters of said pro posed incorporated village shall vote by ballot having thereon the words "For Incorporation, Yes" or "For Incorporation, No." Dated at Beach, North Dakota, this 10th day of April, A.
