There will be a court here to build and other matters of g-eat Importance to be tranascted by the commissioners in the interests cf everv taxpay er in the county. If Egan and O'Keefe are elected you can ex pect that it will be dene along the same lines as the appoint ments were made and commis sioners districts created—for the benefit of a few and with no regard for the wishes of the cre?t majority. Egan and O'Keefe handed out the appointments without regard to the wishes of the vcfters as expressed at the 1912 primaries, and they created the commissioners districts to suit themselves and their politi cal henchmen, who are now try ing to control the board with the court house contract and loca tion in view. It has been rumor ed to the Chronicle that if these men are elected, the court house will be located out in the Near addition (in which Banker Egan owr.es property) and that the contract will be given to E. E Salzman, one of the O'Keefe Egan henchmen. From the rec ord of these men in making ap pointments and creating commis sioners districts, just such a frame up looks reasonable. The des perate effort to- elect Kastien (who also owns property in Nenr's addition) further substan tiates the rumor. The mayor first— and refused to act on the second. .It's time they get down to business—and cut out the comedy. They should carry their soreness about the recent city election no farther.
