When something becomes wrong with your
stomach, look out! It is the seat of many troubles.
you have fas on your stomach, heartburn, and a
heavy tired fading, BEWARE. Much so-called heart
dfiMiairo is only STOHACH disease. Gas in the
stomach causes a pressure against the heart,
makes a palpitation and often causes death. We
can supply the medicines your doctor prescribes.

-Benjamin Chapin's Lincoln-
His great impersonation created a sensation in New York and Boston and the play netted the author more than
#50000, The author gives the complete drama himself: he is the best man in the world to make the greatest of our presidents a living reality to this gen
eration. The voice, face, dress, manner, drollery of the great presidents are all before us in away that startles those who knew Lincoln into the feeling
that the great emancipator has risen from the grave.

So great interest has been shown
by many citizens in having brought
to our city the demonstration of Ra
dium, Jjiquid Air and Wireless Teleg
raphy, that contracts have been sign
ed to have these wonders shown and
clearly explained by "Wim. B. Patty in
au evening of delightful and instruc
tive entertainment, the 23rd of Octo
ber.
Supt. Hanna and Mr. Biggs have
carefully looked into the merits of
the attraction, and are sure an unusual
treat has 'been secured. The three
wonders have been much heard of,
but little seen by the most people,
and this opportunity to gain first-hand
information of thTee live subjects and
see dozens of marvelous experiments
performed therewith will doubtless
bring out a large audience. Prof.
Patty is a fluent speaker, witty and
entertaining, and uses language such
as even the children can understand.
He has been demonstrating these sub
jects for years, and hundreds of hear
ty testimonials frem all parts of the
country attest the superior merits of
the program. Besides, every ticket
scfld carries a printed guarantee that
money will 'be cheerfully refunded if
the entertainment is not exactly as
represented, an actual and compre
hensive demonstration of the world's
three greatest marvels, highly enter
taining and entirely satisfactory in
every way.

•Cooperstown Courier: The Valley
City Daily Patriot has suspended pub
lication because its editor feels that
he has sunk enough money in the pa

and the people of Valley City just for
the sake of glory. Mr. Vallandingham
has been a heavy loser in the deal
and we congratulate 'him upon reach

money for himself by running a good

time when the Times-Record will do
likewise. That paper has ibeen losing
heavy money on the daily and it is
foolish to continue along those lines.

Work On Gas Plant
Progressing Rapidly
PROSPECTS ARE GOOD FOR COM
PLETION OF WORK BEFORE
SNOW .FLIES
With more than fifty men at work, a
big ditching machine on the job, and
prospects for good weather for the
next three weeks all indications point
to the completion of the gas com
pany's mains before the annual freeze
comes.
F. E. Ployhar, manager of the pla^t,
is well pleased 'With the progress
made so far. The shortage of labor,
several weeks of almost incessant
rain, and the subsequent demand for
men on threshing rigs has made it
difficult to keep the work going, but
nothing now stands in the way of
starting the plant this fall.
