John Carlson was injured one day the first of the week as he was mov ing a barrel of vinegar. In some manner the barrel slipped and he was caught under it. Luckily he was able to escape without getting seri ously hurt. Fred Krueger left Wednesday eve ning for Moorhead, Minn., at which place he expects to make a short visit with relatives" and friends and then go on to New York City, for an ex tended visit. He was accompanied by his daughter, Helen. F. K. Shearer is on the sick list this week. He has been having a siege of tonsilitis and the malady has developed into a partial paralysis of one side of his face. His many friends hope that it will not develop anything serious and that he will soon be all right again. Then continued toex hort them to give their hearts in re turn to God. A number of children came forward and prayed through to victory with shining faces. A treat of goodies were then distributed, made possible by the generous dona tions of various merchants and bus iness men of the city, who have our many thanks. A collection of 13.17 -was also taken for the benefit of the starving children in the war coun tries.
