*v,*gB« r- 4- 1 LAKE* UHLAN LETTER, Lake Lillian, April 11—Every thing in the line of vegetation is turning green. It is a little dry, however, for the last seeded grain. Pete Hanson had the misfortune of falling from a load of hay and having a shoulder dislocated. A physician from Olivia attended him. Heglund's lost a horse last Satur day, it having become paralyzed. The horse was taken sick on Friday while at 0. L. Erickson's and died on the following day. Axel Heglund of Jamestown, N. D., came home Sunday. Mr. Heg lund has been in N. D.. for a num ber ot years working for the Min neapolis Tribune. So there was a reunion at the Heglund home Sun day. Saturday evening, April 2, a grand ball was held at Matts Ren strom's place and all who partook enjoyed themselves. Rev. Alex Peterson of Minot, N. D., will preach at the Christine church Sunday forenoon at 10:30 o'clock. Next week Emil Hedin of Lake Lillian will come around to take the census so be sure and have everything ready for him. It is probably hard to know exactly how much has been raised on the farm but we will have to try our best to fill the schedule received some time ago. Housecleaning time is at hand. Everybody is busy and therefore news are as scarce as teeth in a hen's mouth. Willie Lindquist delivered wall papers to quite a number of places here last week. The party who took the evener belonging to J. G. Johnson that was bought at Christ Johnson's sale last spring .had better return the same to the owner or he will be prosecuted, as it is known who is the guilty party. KfiWIOR OJLLWGS Kandiyohi, April 11—Oscar Me lander spent a few days last week in Brooten. Mrs. William Gustafson and sis ter, Miss Ida Klint, visited with friends in Atwater last Tuesday. Mrs. August Lundquist and daughter, Mrs. Clarence Lindblad, left for St. Paul Saturday where they will visit with relatives for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Forsman spent Sunday with the latters par ents in Lake Lillian. Mrs. C. F. Anderson visited with Mrs. Nels Nelson in Atwater Satur day afternoon. The Gilbert Gabrielson and Mar tin Melander families and Miss Clara Gabrielson spent Sunday at the home of Lizzie Klint in Fahlun. L. V. Lund and wife drove to WALL PAPER AND PAINT TALK I have just received my new line of wall papers and can assure you that there has not been a better line shown in Willmar before. I can show you wall papers from the cheapest to the most artistic and expensive designs. I devote all my time to selecting the most attrac tive patterns, and at the same time I can undersell any other wall pa per house in the city. Be sure to look over my line before you buy. I know I can save you money. I also handle paint, varnishes, win dow glass, plate rails, room mould ing, oils and paint brushes. Don't spoil your floors or your wood work by using poor varnishes. I am a practical painter and know that what 1 handle is good. Your trade is solicited 8-f 0. A. Jacobson. LOOK! BUSINESS CHANCE. Opportunity is now knocking at your Door. If you are planning on going into business for yourself I can show you where and how to begin on a smail scale and capital. If you have a few hundred at hand, why go working for others, when you can be independent working for yourself. The men who are now at the head of large concerns, started on a small scale, and why can't you do like wise. All that is necessary is a start. Make up your mind now and don't wait till someone else gets ahead of you. What I have to offer for sale, is a very neat little con fectionary located in this city. My reason for selling, is this: I am going into a larger business, as I have made money enough here to do so. You are aware of the fact that this is just the right time to buy, as the summer season is just open ing up now. Think of this, ain't it reasonable? This opportunity will not last long therefore you must hurry. Regarding information or full particulars call or write T. B. 46 Tribune. CULVERTS!
