East Dovre, Sept. 28th—Martha Lund from Cottonwood visited at the Bethesda Homes a few days last week and left Wednesday morning for Min neapolis to attend the Agricultural school. Mr. Albert Tommeraasen assisted Baklund with the farm work a few days last week. Mr. Axel Nelson, who died last Mon day morning at his home, was buried at the Eagle Lake cemetery on Wed nesday afternoon, services were h«*ld at the home at one o'clock and at the church at 2:30 o'clock. The "Bestyrelse" committee for the Bethesda Homes met last Tuesday and Wednesday. Miss Emma Olson departed Wed nesday morning for Minneapolis to as sist at the Deaconess Hospital. Marie Thorstensen is doing some dressmaking at the Rev. Gynild home. Joe. Berg returned last week from Canada and is visiting at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Ludvig Wold of Will mar were Friday evening callers at •i|i'ijwM'mw Baklund's. The "Bestyrelse" committee was entertained at the Old People's Home for dinner on Tuesday, at the Rev. Larsen home for supper, and at the Young People's Home for dinner on Wednesday. Mr. Carl Bakken was a visitor at the J. M. Olson home from Saturday until Sunday. Messrs. Tommeraasen and Baklund visited at the former's home over Sun day. Services next Sunday at the Eagle Lake church. Following are the ones who dona ted eatables for the Fair which were omitted last week: Mrs. Charley Olson, Mrs. C. W. Pedersen, and Miss Clara Kleven. The E. L. Girls' Society will meet with Mrs. O. E. Olson next Saturday afternoon, Oct. 3rd, instead of last Saturday as was stated in the paper last week. Misses Lenora Kllsberg and Selma Engen departed Monday to attend the Oak Grove Seminary at Fargo, N. D. Mrs. E. E. Gynild, Sigrid, Nora and Arne were Sunday visitors at the P. W. Pedersen home. Misses Anna Olson, Selma Engen and Lenora Kilsberg called at Gy nild's Saturday evening. The Eagle Lake Y. P. S. will meet in the schoolhouse on the East Side of Eagle Lake, Wednesday, Oct. 7th. Miss Esther Jacobson assisted her sister, Mrs. Fritz Danielson, during threshing last week. Mr. Otto Ekblad spent last week with friends at Cannon Falls. Walter Anderson, who has been as sisting his uncle, August Moller dur ing the summer, Is at his home again.
