It's different with me I am go ing to sell all of the best I have. I have always done that and have come out fine. If I miss it this time I will be the one to suffer, and I'll never kick either. Come and buy them as cheap as you can. In my August 21 sale I sold two spring gilts for $1,0 25 each. Their sire was Giant Prospect and their dam, Long Mollie 2nd. I am putting Long Mollie 2nd in this sale bred to St. Paul Nov. 6th. She will farrow Mar. 1st, just right for a show litter. In the same sale I sold one litter of fall yearlings for $7,375. This litter was sired by St. Paul their dam was Jumbo Beauty. This sow goes in this sale bred to St. Paul Nov. 11th. She will farrow Mar. 3rd. There will be three dandy yearling sows sired by Orange Boy and all bred to St. Paul for early litters dam, I Am Miss Wonder. PAUL AND EVOLUTION SALEM Dec. 27—Mr. and Mrs. An drew Erickson of Willmar are spending the holidays at the latter's parental home. Edwin Carlson returned home Wednesday from Iowa. Arthur Paulson of Minneap olis arrived Wednesday to vis it with relatives during Christ mas. Miss Betsy Forstrom of Will mar is visiting at Mrs. A. Holm gren's. The schools in Districts 15 North and South were closed on Thursday for a two weeks vacation. Both schools gave a program in the afternoon.| The church was cleaned and decorated last Monday for the holidays. Sander Broberg of Willmar spent Christmas Day at J. E. Noland's. Miss Frances Magnuson re turned to Minneapolis Monday morning having spent a two weeks vacation visiting with relatives. The Chas. Gustafson, Otto Holmgren and Chas. Johnson families and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gustavson were entertained for dinner at Albert Carlson's on Sunday. Misses Elvira Gustavson, 01 ga Johnson, Teckla, Edythe and Ruth Beckman, Mildred and Edna Carlson of the twin cities spent Christmas at their parental homes, most of them returning Monday morning. The young people of the Sa lem congregation sprung a surprise on Rev C. G. Strom and family at the parsonage on Monday evening. Albin Bro berg was the speaker for the evening and presented Rev. Strom with a purse of money. Flatberg of Milwau kee preached at the Swedish Mission church on Sunday and left the following day for Fos ton, Minn., where he will hold services Tuesday evening. Miss Ada Swenson came up from the cities last week for a visit at her home. Victor Polman who is em ployed at Theif River Falls is spending the holidays at home. Mrs. Oliver Larson returned to the cities on Friday. The Mike Butala family spent Friday to Monday with relatives in Richmond. Wm. Christie and the John Johnson family spent Christ mas in Hawick. The Misses Ethel Eckman and Ruth Lundquist who are employed in Minneapolis spent Friday to Monday at their homes in New London. Miss Dora Hanson returned to Minneapolis on Monday to resume her duties at Fairview Hospital after a visit at her home here since Friday. Miss Anna Clausen of Will mar visited here a few days of last week with her sister, Miss Clara, before they went to Col fax to spend Christmas at their home. Miss Esther Hedeen who teaches at Donnelly is spend ing the holidays with her mo ther and sister in Minneapolis. Miss Inez Walters of St. Paul is visiting in New London this week with relatives. Angell Hanson came home from the Minnesota "U" Wed nesday, not to return for the next semester, however. An gell is making good at electri cal engineering, but has been handicapped the past few wks by illness. Newell and Morris Skeie, of Dawson, are spending the X mas days at home. Mrs. Jen son, formerly Louisa Skeie and children of South Dakota have also been here making the homer circle complete. Miles and Hugh Batterberry of Du Pree, S. D., came home for the holidays on Thursday. The former will remain here, while the latter will return to South Dakota in a few days. Mrs. Hazel Olson came home from Minneapolis on Thursday to enjoy a vacation until Jan. 1st, when she will return to her duties at the Eitel Hospi tal. The Misses Clara Nelson and Rhoda Monson of Minneapolis and Florence Monson of Vir ginia, Minn., spent Christmas at their parental homes in New London. Miss Alphia Olson who tea ches in District No. 25 came home on Friday to remain un til February. Wm. Scheman of Sebeka is our new section foreman. Mr. Brandley has gone to Albany to act as a roadmaster on the Soo line. Beginning with Jan. 1st, the passenger fares will be increa sed 20 per cent. Celebrates 40th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hallberg of New London celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Monday, December 27th.
