CHIROPRACTIC FOR TUBERCULOSIS
Tuberculosis is an abnormal expression of function. In Pulmonary Tuber
culosis the vertebral subluxation is invariably found to b£ in the region of the
third dorsal vertebra and tenderness can be traced over the course of these nerves
to the region over the lung, indicating the diseased area. Knowing that this nerve
impingement or pressure produces the effect, the proper thing to do is to remove
the pressure from the nerve by adjusting the vertebra into proper alignment, the
result being normal transmission and expression of function which constitutes
HEALTH. This theory of CHIROPRACTIC regarding Tuberculosis has been
worked out in practice and numerous cases, both mild and severe can be cited
that have completely recovered from the Disease under PURE SPECIFIC CHIRO
PRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS. 1

The cause of Rheumatism has been a subjuct of discussion from the earliest times and while Chiropractic does not
deny the presence of foreign micro-organisms in the tissues of the rheumatic person* or the acid condition of the sweat
and urine, its claim is that these are only secondary causes and that the true etiology of the disease is tole looked for
elsewhere. Foreign micro-organisms always gather where there is a call for their service. They are the scavengers of
Nature and are found only where there is an inflammatory condition or a breaking down of the tissues of the body. This
would account for tlte fact that investigators have found, not one particular kind, but many varieties of these little micro
organisms in different cases of rheumatism. Neither do these micro-organisms produce the acids that are always present
in cases of true Rheumatism, but on the contrary they are drawn to the painful area by the presence of the inflammatory
condition which is produced in part by the acids that are deposited in the tissues. Rheumatism is an acute or chronic
inco-ordination of nerves, muscles, articulations, membranes or bones characterized by pain, swelling, redness, fever and
sometimes deformity. Muscular Rheumatism is a form in which the site of pain is localized in the nerve endings of the
muscles or their point of attachment in this form the onset is sudden with pain of increasing intensity upon muscular ac
tion. On or many muscles may be affected when localized in the intercostal muscles it is called pleurodynia, when in the
lumbar muscles it is called lumbago, and when in the hip, thigh or elsewhere it is called myalgia. There is perhaps no ail
ment more common from which so many people suffer and for which so little relief can be obtained.
Chiropractors, however, handle this condition with a great degree of success, ninety five per cent of all cases obtaining
permanent relief after taking I O A I A S E N S Chiropractors have conclusively proven that Rheu
matism is caused by nerve pressure. By careful palpation of the spine of a person so afflicted they locate the displaced or
subluxated vertebrae and adjust them back to their normal position, thereby releasing the impingement or nerve pressure and
allowing free and uninterrupted transmission of nerve force or mental impulse access to the affected part or parts which re
stores the patient to normal thru Nature's way. Chiropractic holds out a helping hand to every sufferer of Rheumatism, be
it acute or chronic. If you are one of these, will you not thoroughly investigate and if convinced give it a fair trial? A mul
titude of cases are on record \v,ho have obtained complete and permanent relief from Rheumatism by taking I O
