The singers, arej[making very good progress. -Tv»- At the regular monthly meeting of St. Patrick'Council, K. of of this city, held Monday evening of last week, the matter of securing a club house was discussed and voted upon favorably Deputy Grand Knight Max Sebald was delegated by Grand Knight Henry Berg to. appoint a committee of ten to investigate. the project and report a a later meeting. The "hasenpfeffer" lunch served in connection with the meeting was greatly enjoyed by those present, who numbered upwards of 150. Kaiser returned home Monday evening from Bertha, Minn., where they attended the funeral of the latter's sister, Mrs. Ben Bigelow, passed away at that place last morning at 5 o'clock, following" an operation for the removal of an ab scess. Deceased had been ailing for about a year and was confined to her some three weeks prior to her demise. She was born in Chicago, 111., 58 years ago and came to New Ulm with her when but -seven years old. 35 years ago she was married in city to John Lesemann, who passed away in 1905. They moved to Sleepy Eye some 22 years ago and located on a farm in that vicinity, later taking up their residence at Bertha, where deceased had since made her home. Eight years ago she was married to her surviving husband, aside from whom she leaves six children of her former marriage to^ mourn her loss: Henry, Arthur, Adolph and Edwin Lesemann and Mrs. Anna Engelking, all residing near Olivia and Miss Hattie Lesemann, who is teaching at Bertha. She also leave? the lollowmg sisters and brothers: Mrs. F. Kaiser, New Ulm Mrs. Anna Meyerpeter, Denver, Colo. Mrs. Julia Helena, Mont.
