We, the undersigned, for the purpose of forming a corporation under the Laws of the State of Minnesota, do hereby subscribe and acknowledge the following articles of incorporation. Artile I. The name of this corporation shall be the "Buenger Furniture Company". Article II. The general nature of the business of this corporation shall be to buy, manufacture, sell, either at retail or wholesale, and generally to engage and deal in carpets, rugs, house furnishings and fittings, furniture of all sorts, orna ments, bric-a-brac, fancy goods, leathef goods, draperies, all articles and com modities relating to or used in the furnish ing of private homes, houses, offices, clubs or other places, and everything that pertains to or is incidental to a general furniture and house furnishing business. And further, the said corporation shall carry on and conduct the general busi ness of undertaking and funeral directors, and to that end engage in the purchase, manufacture -or sale of burial robes and casket linings, wood, metallic or cloth covered burial cases, caskets, coffins or vaults and hardware trimmings for the same. The corporation may also engage in the business ofperservmg dead bodies, by embalming or other process and in the cremation of the same and in con nection with said undertaking business the corporation may operate a hearse or hearses and do all other things which are necessary, proper incidental and suitable order to conduct this branch "f its business in the best possible manner. And further the said corporation may buy, lease, own, sell and dispose of any and all real and personal property that may be convenient or necessary for use in carrying on its said business, and to do any and all other business convenient, incident or necessary for all the purposes hereinbefore stated. Article III. The principal office and place of busi ness of- said corporation shall be at the City of New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota, but branches, offices and agencies may be established at such other places in this state, or in other states, as the Board of Directors may select, and the corporation may carry on its business at any such place within or with out this state. Wilking, who has been visiting with the Kroening family at Fosston, Minn., returned home on Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Lange and children visited relatives here last week. A baby boy arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Havemeyer, last Wednesday. Congratulations! Dave Rosenbaum had his brick build ing covered with new tin roofing last week. A free show was given at the Princess Theatre last Wednesday evening, ad vertising the natural resources of the Dakotas. It was well attended. 0rl A party of friends surprised Miss Josephine Meyer, last Sunday evening, the occasion being her birthday anni versary. The evening was spent in dancing. The C. A. Alkire family has moved to Morgan, Minn., and the house formerly occupied by them is now occupied" by the Irwin Zieske family of Minneapolis. Mr. Zieske plans to try his hand at sugar beet farming in this locality. Webster Davis, who recently moved to Spearfish, S. D., with his family, called on friends here, Saturday, having re turned to Cambria a few days previously Yor the purpose of shipping his household goods to his new home. A rather pe culiar fact about their new location is that they live in Wyoming, receive their mail from a city in South Dakota and have their freight shipped to a station in Montana. '9Jr£/ Nearly all the farmers in this vicinity have about finsihed their spring seeding. The Courtland Creamery Co. has made arrangements to have its grounds beau tified. Numerous new shrubs and trees have been set out and as many of the trees are" of the fruit-bearing variety the result will be both pleasing and profitable. The dance at Stucke's Hall, Saturday evening, was well -attended. An attempt is being made ty the citizens of the village to organize a company to promote the building of an electric line from the village limits to Redstcne, to connect with the line there. The money to build the line within the village limits can be raised by tax as sessments'. A substantial amount has already been pledged and it is to be hoped that the retraining number cf pledges will socn be obtained. The Creamery Company received a carload of coal, one day last week.
