Kirby, age 1 year, youngest
child of Mr. Clarence Crutcher,
died Thursday morning at 6 o’clock,
in the south part of town.

Brooks, who not long since, mov
ed to Riverside, have moved back
to our city and will reside here in

Wednesday night a lialloween
party was given at the hospitable
home of Mr. and Mrs. A. ,J. Marsh,
under the supervision of their
daughter, Miss Myrtle and Miss
Myrtle Wood. It was by all means
the social event of the season and
no pains were spared to make it a
grand success. About twenty young
people attended the party and all
had a most delightful time. The
decorations of the evening were
superb and arranged so as to re
present the “land of witches”.
Music was furnished by the young
ladies present while Ewell Pollett
displayed his large supply of wit
and humor. Tne ghost was the
main feature of the occasion and
received the “glad hand shake’’ of
every one but Miss Ida Tarpley.
Nothing was left undone to make
everyone feel at home aud add to
the evening’s enjoyment aud the
Misses Marsh and Wood are to be
congratulated for the success of
the party. It will never be for
gotten. Among those present we
note the following: Misses Ruth |
Hailey, Ida Tarpley, Liunie Kyle,
Janie Schupp, Ethel Johnson, Nel
lie Brazeale, Amy Hartin, Willie i
Perkins and Bessie Dilliard. Messrs
Dayton Miller, Jno. McFaddt-u,
Ewell Pollett, Bob Johnson, Tom
