He re turned Tuesday morn, accompa med by his daughter, Miss Rena, is the charming guest of .lss Bessie Roddy. Mr. and Mrs. D. Harrison and son, Master Roy, arrived Thurs day from Memphis and are pleas ant guests at the hospitable home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cullum. Chappell Grove News. Miss Donnie Spradlin returned home from Augusta Tuesday. Ask Fred Manasco how he likes Cotton Plant. She is a perfect doll, Fred. We are surely glad to realize the fact that Mr. Edgar King has a new phonograph. There was singing at Chappell Grove Friday evening. Quite a large crowd attended. Misses Kate Smith and Mary Belle Crossett were horse-back riding Monday afternoon. We are wondering if Ayane is lonesome these days? Cheer up Ayane, she will return soon. Cheer up Nora, do not look so sad when out in a crowd, we know that Joe is gone, but he will return some time in the near future. Col. and Mrs. H. B. Gray are home from an extended stay in Hot Springs where they went for his health. We are glad to note that he is much improved.
