KIRBY WILL OPEN CAMPAIGN NOV, 22 Justice W. F. Kirby of the Arkansas Supreme Court, who is a candidate for the United State Senate, yesterday announced that he will open his campaign with a speech at * Benton, ISaturday, Noyember 22. After this Judge Kirby will immediately begin a speaking tour of northwestern Arkansas. With Justice Kirby taking the field, itlis'expected that the‘sena torial contest, which promises to feature the Democratic primary of next March, will! open. Thus far there are three avowed aspir ants for the Arkansas toga. Judge Charles Coffin has an nounced that he will tour the state. Senator James P. Clarke has announced that he will seek renomination. There is a possibility of ajfour cornered race. Fort Smith dis patches say that Judge Joseph M. Hill of that city, well known as an attorney throughout the state, is considering the advisa bility of entering the ra^e. Whiie Judge.Hill thus far hasj refused to make a statement as to his in tentions, a report,! apparently authentic, says that uuless that unless there is a decided change in[the situation.!;his fannounce ment may be expected soon.
