Lloyd England, The Adjutant General SUTTON ^SCRAPS The Election is now a thing of the past, and I am glad, whether I got my choice or not I am will ing for the majority to rule. 1 think we will have a fine set of men for office from Governor down to Bailiff, but still we have some politicians that are still chewing their bits because all of their men did not get the nomi nation. 1 certainly enjoyed reading the letter from Ralph Bailey of Portland. Oregon, in last issue of the Picayune. The many friends of Willis Baily wiil be sad to learn of his death which occurred at the san itarium in Prescott last Satur day at 4 o’clock a. m. His death was caused :by a pistol falling out of his pocket, hitting a rock, fired ball entering his lower bowels. His remains were brought to Bluff Springs ceme tery and after services conducted by Rev. J. W. Erwin, the body was laid to rest to await the res urrection morn. The bereaved have our sympathy. John Rodgers of Elkhart, Tex as. and Miss Grace Rodgers o Prescott were in our burg one day last week. John was out on a short visit. He left last Tues day. Said he would be bac.. againjn about 6 weeks. John has many friends in Nevada county who are always glad to see him. A'gie Dillard of Alexandria, La., spent last Tuesday in Sut ton. Algie has many friends and relatives in this community who are always glad to see him. Preston White and family spent Sunday with J. A. Fincher near Union church. Geo. Camp has a cow that gives bitter milk. He wants to get a few capsules. Lem, can you furnish him a few so he can take a few doses?
