Past Kunday morning about 3 o’clock
the Christian Church of this city
burned. The cause of the fire is not
known. This is certainly it calamity
to these god people. They had just
about recovered from tlie effects of the
burn they had nine or ten years ago.
We trust, however, that the good
people of Prescott will rally to tlds con
gregation and will son have another
splendid church.

MAGNOLIA AGGIES DEFEATED
HENDERSON-BROWN
A hard-fought game was played Mon
day at Arkadelphia when the Magnolia
Agricultural College defeated the llen
derson-Rrown "Reddies” to the tune of
21 to 10. The Aggies not having been
defeated this year gave an interesting
game for the Reddies.
The lineup for the Aggies, which in
cludes a number of Nevada county
boys, is as follows: V. (Jodley, q. h.:
]j. Middlehrooks. 1. h.: 1.. (Jodley. r. h.:
T. Atkins, f. b.: 1» Stewart. 1 g.: W.
King, r. g.; 1>. Camp, center; 11. Wil
kinson, 1. t. ; R. Franks, r. t. ; F. Moses.
1. e.; S. Croswhlte, r. e.
We call attention to the fact that the
entire hack field is composed of Nevada
county huskies.
