The earlier part of the evening was spent in playing games after which a delicious ice course was served. Music was fur-! nished throughout the evening by the Victrola. The Methodist Episcopal church, South, has designated tomorrow (Fri day) as a day of fasting and prayer all over Methodism, this being part of the program of the Centenary cam paign. Although a total of nearly sixty million dollars have been sub scribed to the Centenary fund, that does not mean that it has been paid and one-twentieth of it is due this year. Teaching Methodists to pray is another feature of the campaign. Therefore the day of fasting and prayer. The local Methodist church will observe tomorrow by holding a sunrise prayer meeting in the morn ing beginning promptly at 6:30 o’clock and will continue for 45 min utes. A true Christian will attend this service, even though at a sacri- j fice, unless absolutely unable to do so. Let all members get it into their j hearts to be at this sunrise service.
