J. Horning, who has spent the
past six months here, left (or his
home at Tclluude this morning
W. M I‘arks, who has been here
the past two weeks working, re
turned to his home ot Austin this
Frank Shields, who went over to
Denver apple show week, returned
here last evening, accompanied
by his (riend. C. B. Davis, who
will spend some time here.
Among passengers to Delta
yesterday morning to attend
court were I.awyers Stone and
Vincent and Ye editor and wife,
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Spencer.
Mrs Theresa Dalchow is spend
ing today in our city. The bridge
gang, for which she is chief cook,
is at Delta She leaves in the
morning for Denver, where she
will take a week's vacation.
F. H. Posey, traveling salesman
for the Morey Mercantile Com
pany of Denver, was in our city
yesterday on his regular trip. He
has been making this territory for
the past seventeen years and says
that this is his last trip. He has
extensive property interests over
near Montrose and will retire
from business and take life easy
for a while.

Al Grceson who has been over

Mrs J. K Detheridge left the
first of the week for Oklahoma
where she will visit until after
Christmas with her parents. She
will stop off at Bouldca on her
return to visit with her daughter
who is a indent of Colorado
Mr and Mrs. Clarence Nelson
and daughter, Margaret, left the
first of the week for eastern and
southern points. They will make
a short visit in the east and then
go to Florida to spend the winter.
C. T. Fry who with his family
are now living on the Tom Kent
ranch near Crawford, came over
this afternoon on business.

the week for Sidney, Fremont
county, lowa where she will make
an extended visit.
Walter L Morris of I.os Ange
les. Calif. is here visiting at the
Rev. E H. Robinson home. He

Packing company, with head
quarters at Grand Junction, was
in our city Tuesday transacting
business with customers.
Mr and Mrs. J. R. George are
the elated parents of a winsome
little maid who arrived at their
home on Orchard avenue last
Thursday evening.
J. S. Bohnet came down from
his Pilot Knob ranch the first of
this week. He made a pleasant
cell at this office. The Pilot Knob
country is fast making a name for
itself and is composed of some of
the finest ranches in these parts.

that Frank Wyman, one of our
Pitkin mesa ranchmen, who went
to Minnesota a few weeks ago,
presumably for a visit, was
