A series of meetings by Revs.
Gilkoy and Mathews in the Sid
ney school house closed Monday
night with twelve accessions to
the church. Services are now
being held by them at Prosperity
church, and will be transferred to
Elbert on the arrival of Rev.
Kirkland.
Charles M. Kirk, the popular
superintendent of the K. K. ranch,
has been transferred to greener
pastures at Lafayette, Colorado,
where his ability will have wider
scope. He carries with him the
host wishes of s wide ciicle of
friends. This paper will keep
him posted on Divide matters.
A dog supposed to lie suffering
with hydrophobia passed through
the Hilltop neighborhood on« dsy
lust week. A number of dogs and
some other animals were bitten.
The rabid dog was shot by Mr.
‘ Pauli near the Hilltop school house
Most of the degs that were bitten
