Grandma Baldwin is very ill with pneumonia, her daughter, Mrs. Hidden, is taking care of her. Mrs. Della Nicholson of Miami Arizona was buried from the Presby terian Church Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Wheeler, Mrs. Dietrich ami son Loyd autoed over to Calhan on Monday, where they had dental work done. Mr. and Mrs. Wrockloff and Mr and Mrs. Theo. Nebraan took dinnei with Mr. and Mrs. Cornforth Tues day evening. Mrs. Beckman took Miss Esther to Denver to St. Anthony’s Hospital where site was operated on for ap pendicitis. She is getting along nicely. Mrs- Van Temmen returned from Denver, where she lias been for the last two weeks taking care of Mrs. Skoogs, who Is now recovering from ilie sleeping sickness. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson of Denver were visiting Mrs. Johnuon’s sister, Mrs. Tom Wray. Mrs. Wray and Mro Fred Burnside accompanied them home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brace, Mr. and Mrs. Chas- Kent and famtlly, Mrs. Hoover and Mrs. Max Carlson were callers at Mrs. Ett a Dietrich’s Sun day afternoon. Elbert and Kiowa played baseball on Kiowa’s diamond Sunday. The Tore being 2 o 5 in Tavor of Elbert.
