J. Victor McCandless FIRE INSURANCE THAT INSURES. VOL. 25 No. 1 e A Letter That Will Be of Interest * ¢ To those who buy Good Clothing —_—_— Below you will find a letter from our fellow townsman, V. A. Robinson. Mr. Robinson, before leaving for Chicago, purchased'a suit and overcoat from us, which he had intended to purchasein Chicago. We induced him to make the purchase of us—hence this letter. . . BSRSaeI SN 1 3 e RSB ST eLt OnIOAGO, ILL, FEBRUARY 14, 1909. Mr. Nat McConnell and Boston Dry Goods Co., Florence, Colo., Dear Sir and Gentlemen:— On top of what you had said relative to possible differenee in prices between yours and Chicago prices, I thought I would learn for my own satisfaction what I might have saved on suit and overcoat you sold me, had I purchased in Chicago. T have not found a single suit of any make of the quality you sold me for less money anywhere; in fact, the same suit displayed, bore a tag 50c more than your price. At nc time has the suit or similar quality been displayed at a sales price, and T have visited the home of the H., S. & M. Clothing most every day. [The overcoat was displayed on Saturday at a sale price 50c less than I paid you, not enough dif ference to pay freight on an individual suit. These were interesting facts to me and ought to be to the home merchant. I wish all Florence people could appreciate the facts as I now do. Very truly yours, - VERNER A. ROBINSON.
