The chief object of every vis it to the Bridge is of course a view of the wunderfu! great stone arch that is a bridge In reality as well as In name, and one never tires of Its grandeur. The lovely glen with Its clear moun tain stream gurgling along fern-cov ered banks and under picturesque hem locks and pines Is a Joy within Itself, and suggests Ideas of poetry anti peaceful seclusion. The sloping lawns surrounding the hotel are tilled with gay groups, some playing croquet or tennis, and others beguiling the lime with lively chatter or with books. The howling alley Is very popular, and the data bring manv bowling contests. With the added delights of the swim ming pool and of drives through this lovely country, th" cup of pleasure i» filled to the brim The ballroom is al ways a brilliant scene, especially on weekend nights. The cottake colony is largo this season. Card parties and other social gatherings are arranged on the different verandas. Thursday the guests enjoyed another large euchre party In the delightful pa vilion. Euchre Is a truly social game and Ha rounds are always accompanied bj much bright chatter and pleasant excitement.
