OCTOBER 20. 1897. A NEW DISCOVERY by theSHAKERS For more than a hundred years tbe Mount Lebanon Shakers have studied the cultivation of medioinal plants and sought to extraot from them their healing essences. Their labor has not been spent in vain. They have made a dieoovery that will prove a blessing to mankind. It consists of a cordial that oauses immediate relief in cases of indigestion. The importance of this discovery will become apparent when we realize that nearly nine tenths of our sufferings are caused by dyspepsia or indigestion. Nearly every person you meet has this diges tive trouble in some of its varied forms —sick headache, distress after eating, pain and fullness in the chest after eating, palpitation of tbe heart, etc., are but symptoms of indigestion. To relieve these sufferings has been the study of the Shakers, and they have succeeded. The reason the Shaker l)ige:ti vs Cordial has suoh an immediate and salutary effect is that it causes the food eaten to be digested, for it ii undigested food that causes the du, <n. Tbe Cordial oauses tbe food to be digested before there is time for it to ferment and sour on the stom ach. Wben the food is so digested it gives strength and vigor to the feeble body, makes one feel bright and cheer ful, and makes one gain iu flesh. The Digestive Cordial is so prompt in its action that the very first dose win have a perceptibly favorable re sult. It gives immediate relief. Every druggist h.ua been sent a sup ply of our handsome donkey puzzle books, and a copy t ly be had for the asking. It tells ail about the Cordial as well as Laxol, the new castor oil. Try a 25-cent bottle of Digestive Cordial and see what it will do for you. SHIPPING REPORT. PORT OF BRUNSWICK, Oct. 19, 1897. OOBRBCTED DAILY BY CAM. OTTO JOHANWESON WITH E. H. MASON * CO. ARRIVED.
