A speoial from Dawson says: Daw
son and Terrell oounty are still at work
trying to get tbe Brunswiok and Binn
ing railroad. At a recent meeting the
CouLty Commissioners pledged co-op
eration and passed resolutions granting
the road tl:c privilege to cross all public
roads and streams in the oounty. Tbe
city oounoilalso agreed to let tbe road
oross its streets. Three parties have
offered to donate terminal facilities and
all who have been seen in toe country
are eager. to give right of ® r ay through
their lauds.

Special Notice.
The* attention of the consumers of
water gae and electricity Is called to
the yellow covered book of rates and
rules Usued June Ist and it is asked that
they will acquaint themselves with its
provisions as said roles and regulations
will bo enforced. Special attention is
called totbe rules governing sprinklers
and to city ordinanoe No. 81, approved
May 14 1900, fixing the time for nslng
them as between 4 and 9 p, m. at any
one day and at no other time. Where
sprinklers are found running at any
other hoars the inspeotor will out off
water at once from the premises and a
charge of 25 cents must be paid before
it will be turned *on again. If same
sprinkler should be found running a
second time tho occupant of the pretnU
sis will be put on dooket. There is
plenty of water for all neoess ary pur-,
poses and for 5 hoars use of sprinkler,
which is considered a liberal time, but
beyond that the supply will run
short and in event of a fire might cause
serious loss. It is hoped that this
warning will be heeded -sprinklers
when allowed, are so allowed under the
rules and In conformity with the city
ordinance, fixing lime at from 4 to 9 p
m. of each day and ot no other time.
