granted that every person will do all in their
power,- to save the lives of their children, and
that, every person ; will promote their own
health at all sacrifiees. . I feel it to be my

Mr. E. P. CoopeDear Sir: Agreeably
to your request, and my own desire to bene
fit the afflicted, I hereby certify the great
relief I received from the use of
Hampton & Vegetable Tincture
I was taken with a violent palpitation, or
rather fluttering or trembling of the heart
which continued several days; it seemed as
though my heart had almost forgotten its
office; The family became alarmed and pro
cured a bottle-of the valuable medicine, and
before I had taken near one bottle of this
Tincture of Hampton' I was entirely relieved.
I j This is tkeMurd instance .of relief in my
family from the use of this valuable medi
cine. Two or three years ago I was laid up
with ulceration' of my ankle, from effect of
what Is usually called milk' leg. I had lost
all taste ' and appetite, and the sore, which
was some four inchet up and down, and half
way around mys anklp, rejected every effort
to heal it, until I procured Hampton's Vege
table Tincture; one bottle of which: restored
my health, healcl my, ankle, and I am freer
from swelling than for the last thirty years.
Again, one of my daughters was very low
from, severe dysentery, and when she began
to sit up her feet commonced swelling,
which increased every day and began to be
very painful she used a bottle of Hamp
ton's Tincture; the pains were assuaged, the
swelling subsided, and her health returned
- we kept her legs bandaged with strips of
woolen until her strength returned. I have
been thus particular, 4hat others under sim
ilar circumstances might be induced to avail
themselves of this remedy.
