Bemidji will have two meat markets in a ve*y short time. Messrs. Leak and Cotton, of Grot ton, N. D., but who have been in Bemidji for the past two months, will open a market on Beltrami avenue, about June 15th. Mr. Leak was formerly the propritor of a meat market at Grottou. Beltrami county may now be said to have a finger in the pie. Her population is increased in two days' time by more than two thousand good hard-workig white settlers of all nationalities, who will clear her forests aiid drain her meadows, build her towns and till her farms for the next thirty years.
