H, Monson who says he owns a quarter section of land near Ada sang and made merry yesterday afternoon and finally lay down in the street t sleep until Officer Bailey took him up and laid him away in the village dungeon. This morning when he faced Judge Reynolds it was all explained. He was going deer hunting but on the train were a number of men with bottles and Monson could not resist the temptation to drink. When overtaken by the spirit of glad ness he persists in singing the "Holy City" and he was thrown out of the first place he started a stunt in yesterday before the first verse was finished. This morning he had lost his Winches ter and several other things. Ephriam Howe was also up. Ephriam had not been arrested for ten years before and was not in the habit of getting drunk. Frank Anderson was a scholar in the North school of district No. 48 and carried his home habits with him to school. Those habits were of such a kind that they could hot be tolerated erther by tb& pupils or the teacher. -Frank Anderson appeared to be uncon scious of adoing anything wrong and at one time seemed to have "a large following." In the trial it was proved that he had been using indecent language, swear ing, calling names and had will fully and maliciously and inten tionally disobeyed nearly every rule in school. I was an easy victory for the teacher, whose work, plans and government were endorsed by unanimous resolution of the whole board.
