The Bemidji members of Brain

have received invitations to attend
the annual memorial day services
of the order, which will be con
ducted at Elks' Hall at Brainerd,
next Sunday. Memorial day is
observed by the order through
out the country, but the occasion
will this year be memorable
with the Brainerd Lodge.? Among
the members of the order who
have died within the past year
and who are well known in Be
midji are W. H. Huggins, E. A.
Zuver, J. F. Murphy, A. F. Fer
ris and Joel Smith. The motto
of the order is "The faults of our
brothers we write upon the sands,
their virtures we preserve upon
the tablet of love and memory."
The Brainord lodge has about 10
members in Bemidji, and all who
can plan to attend the Memoral
day services next Sunday.
