cases of the kind on the Cross Lake side of
the lake. So far, fifty-eight cases of tracho
ma have been treated at Bed Lake. There
have also been two operations for cataract
and six for pterygium. Dr. Harrison’s visit
to the Bed Lake Reservation is of incalcu
lable benefit to the Indians who have been
suffering in the past with eye afflictions and
it is hoped that all who are so afflicted will
now avail themselves of the opportunity to
have their eyes restored to a healthy condi
tion. not only for their own satisfaction and
benefit but also as a prevention of further
spread of this disease through contagion.

All agricultural exhibits should be deliv
ered to Mr. Lee, Additional Farmer, not la
ter than 6 p. m. Monday, September 9, where
they may be properly tagged ready for ship
ment to Bemidji on the morning of the 10th.
Those who want to send their exhibits di
rect to the Secretary of the Fair association
may do so by addressing A. P. Bitchie, Be
midji, at any time prior to the fair, giving a
list of the articles to be exhibited.
All exhibits placed with Mr. Lee will be
properly cared for and returned to the own
ers after the fair. Those who desire to sell
their exhibits may do so.
The products of the soil must be entered
by the producer and must be of this year’s
growth.
Mrs. Goddard will be in charge of all do
mestic exhibits, including bead work, etc.
