Louis Cohen RESOLVED, That the common council of the City of Virginia, St. Louis county, Minnesota, deems it necessary that a sidewalk be con structed as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 24 of Block 11 of said city, to north corner of Lot A, on the east side, thence west between Lots and O to bridge, thence west from bridge along the south side of Lot 23 of Block 12 of the Great Northern addition to the City of Virginia, thence north along the east side of said Block 12 of said ad dition, but not further than and including Lot 24, Block 11 of said addition, sidewalk to connect with Lake Boulevard running north to Lot 23, Block 12 said sidewalk to be 8 feet in width and constructed of the following material, to-wit: Surfaced plank, 2 inches thick, not less than 6 inches wide stringers to be three in number and 4x6 inches and sup? porters to be 4xft inches and to be used where necessary also that the said sidewalk to be laid to a grade to be established by the com mon council and a railing to be provided where deemed necessary for safety of pedes trians. Nays, nOne. KOOGH/OHINQ! 312 Lots Sold in Franson's Addition To Koochiching. The Duluth, Virginia fc Rainy Lake Rail way will be running trains into Koochi ching by the first of next September. The Koochiching Company has completed negotiations with the Canadian govern ment^ which will permit the improvement of this great international water power on both sides of the river, thus removing the last obstacle that stood in the way of carrying out the company's plans. If you wake up one of these fine mornings and find that Koochiching is growing to be a city—and a bigger city than any on the Mesaba Range—don't blame anybody but yourself because you neglected to secure one of those $75 lots in Franson's Addition. Don't say your attention was never called to them, whatrver you do. This property has been selling pretty fast lately, and although we have npt been making very much fuss about it, we have disposed of 312 lots since the plat was put on the market last April. D. W.
