Piml NORTHWESTERN BULLETIN Mr. Julius L. Qooaby and Mr*. L. Arnold wer# quietly married Tuesday evening, January Bth, at the home of Mrs. J. H. Banks, 812 4th Ave. No. Rev. John R. .Jackson pastor of Zion Baptist church. Mr. and Mrs. Goosby are at home at 506 Aldridge Ave. No. Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Evans and Mr. B. Williams, 3557 4th Ave. So. were hosts at a delightful party in honor of Miss Beatrice Nlclols of Kansas City on Tuesday evening. The house was beautifully decorated in pink and gTeen. The guests numbered twenty five and everyone spent an enjoyable evening. Refreshments were served by Mr. Grimes, the caterer. Miss Ni chols will end her three weeks’ visit Friday. Miss Alice Crosby died Monday morning, January 14, at 7 o’clock, at Glen Lake Sanitarium. The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the Neal Undertaking Chapel at 2 o’clock. Estelle Fins, Elsie McCormick, Helen Williams, Naomi Gilmer, Gladys Al len and Pearl Ray were the pallbear ers. The deceased was born 'March 15, 1899, in Oklahoma City. Okla,, and is survived by her husband, Wm. Crosby, 213 11th Ave. So., and her mother who resides in Oklahoma City, Okla. Dr. Owen Waller, a graduate Cornell University, who has been making his home in St Paul for a number of years, left Friday for New York, where he will open a Veterin ary hospital with his brother. Dr. Waller of that city. Dr. Owen Wal ler is a member of the oldest Omega Phi Psi Chapter in the country. The Bulletin-Appeal wishes Dr. Waller much success in his new undertaking.* The Self Culture Club spent 810.00 for Christmas baskets this year.
