Do not drink between meals unless to
quench thirst, as excess of water weak
ens the gastriu juice and overworks tho
kidneys. Excessive potations, whether
of watcror other fluid, relax tho stomach,
impair its secretions, and paralyze its
movements. By drinking u little at u
time the injury is avoided.
