rate as for the past two years, $1.00 for operating purposes upon the $100
valuation.
Why Is It Called An
"Increase"?
The law requires that any rate of school tax above 40 cents shall bo
voted upon every two years, and described as "increase." This has been done
every two years for the last twenty years.
If the Election Is Not
