ceremony was performed by Rabbi Wil liam S. Friedman. The parlor where the ceremony took place was a maze of foliage. The canopy under which the bridal couple stood was an artistic com bination of white violet wedding bells and smilax. The back parlor and din ing room looked very cheerful in a color scheme of red and green. To the soft strains of music the bridal party de scended down the stairs into the parlor. The bride was most beautifully attired in a gown of creme messaline silk trimmed in Duchess lace and carried a shower bouquet of bride’s roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Jennie Winheim, Miss Rena Jacoby and Miss Bertha Em rich. After the ceremony a most elab orate repast was enjoyed. Those pres ent were: Mr. and Mrs. A. Schlessin ger, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Emrich, Mr. Sam Schlessinger, Masters Harry and Lester Schlessinger, Mr. and Mrs. S. Strauss, Mr. Leo Strauss, Mr. Sam Strauss, Miss Retta Strauss, Miss Birdie Strauss, Mr. and Mrs. 11. Schwartz, Mrs. A. Alexander, Dr. A. Zederbaum, Mr. and Mrs. M. Schandal, Mr. Louie Em rich, Mr. Frank Emrich, Miss Bertha Emrich, Miss Rena Jacoby, Miss Libbie Ornauer, Miss Clara Jantzen, Mr. Adolph Stern and Mr. Henry Schlessin ger, who was toastmaster of the evening. Toasts were responded by all of the guests. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Emrich will make their future home in Kansas City, where the well wishes of a host of friends attend them. Obituary Mr. Isaac Plavt, for many years a res ident of Denver, died last Friday morn ing of asthma and was buried Sunday afternoon from his residence, 121 East Twenty-second avenue. Rabbi Fried man officiated and spoke of the great esteem in which Mr. Plavt was held by a large number of friends. The de ceased leaves a widow and married daughter, Mrs. Selma Davidson. Mrs. William Bergman, of 2523 Ma rion street, passed away Sunday night, the 22nd. Mrs. Bergman was a beloved mother in Israel and devoted her life to her husband and four children. Rabbi Friedman, in his funeral eulogy, paid a deserving tribute to the unselfish and self-sacrificing career of Mrs. William Bergman. Mr. Manuel J. Cohn of San Francisco died at the National Jewish Hospital suddenly of hemorrhage, January 18, 1905. He was buried in the new ceme tery of the Twenty-fourth Street syna gogue, Mr. S. R. Zwetow officiating. Mr. Cohn was a highly respected citizen of San Francisco and one of the founders of the Hebrew Free Loan Associatipn of that city. THE JEWISH OUTLOOK B. M. H. RELIGIOUS SCHOOL BAZAR. The B. M. H. religious school held a bazaar for the purpose of raising money for the school fund. It was opened last Sunday evening and lasted through the entire week.
