left on Tuesdays stage for Laramie,
from which place he will go to Chicago,

Monte Blevins of Walden arrived in
the city Saturday and is here awaiting
the coming of some cattle from his ranch
to bo shipped to market. He is regis

Park. Mr. McNamaia stopped in Wal
den Tuesday and Wednesday on his
way to Kremmling.
Floyd Norris left Saturday with about
200 head of cattle, tho last of his North
Park bunch, on his way to the Denver
market. He will return shortly and
nmko some disposition of his ranch,
either sell or lease it.
Tho Walden school will give an enter
tainment in the I, O. O. F. hull on Fri
day evening April 12th, for tho purpose
of raising funds for different school

Much activity has been evidenced iir

week, three afternoon tea parties being
recorded. Those giving'the teas were
Mrs. A. E. Butler, Monday, Mrs. A. A
Hunter, Tuesday, and Mrs. M. R. Mat
thews, Thursday.
A. K. Marr, who is in St. Luke’s hos
pital in Denver tindergoing treatment
for stomach trouble, is living high. Tho
doctors are allowing him all tho water
he wishes to drink and a look at a glass
of milk twice a day. He seems to be im
proving under tho treatment.
Mrs. C. L. Moore, who came iu from
Denver Thursday night, on business
connected with the settling of her hus
band’s estate, returned to Denver Mon
day morning, where she will remain with
her brother-in law, Representative Pad
dock,and wife until the close of this ses
sion of the legislature.
liOslie Ish, who was in from Rand Fri
day, stated that his mother and tho fam
ily exjiect to leave sometime next week
to jwiu Mr. Ish, who.has been in Gold
field this winter. Mrs. Ish and the
children will reside at Reno, while Mr,
Ish and Leslie will work on some min
ing property, in Goldfield, which Mr.
Ish has acquired. The Ish ranch at
Rand has been leased to J. W. Welch.
