‘•The Evangelization of the World”
will be the theme of Rev. Trowbridge’s
sermon for Sunday ovoning, April 21st.
atthoM. E. Church in Walden.
Aid in the development of this subject
six large charts 5x4 feet in size, with
lettering large enough to be read from
any part of the church, giving the most
reliable information that con be obtain
ed on various divisions of the subject,
will be hung on the wall and explained
during the service.
Following aro the subjects presented
by the charts;
Chart No. 1. “Religious Census of the
world ” This gives the present religious
condition of the world and by facts
drawn from figures it will not be diffi
cult for us to get an open vision of “our
job.”
Chart No. 2. “Africa” Some very in
teresting things are to be said in a brief
way about this country.
Chart No 3. “Two Parishes,” treats of
the non-Christian and the Chriatiun
world.
Chart No. 4. “World Mission Progress”
illustrated, giving gain in number of
communicants since the year 1800.
Chart No. 5. “The Evangelization of
the world” This chart has many very
interesting things and will speak more
clearly for itself than we can for it.
Chart No.o. “How Americans spend
their money.” (Annual Expenditures.)
A great monument of facts which will
doubtless prove an eye-opener to man}’
if not all, and carries with it its own
sequel.
Many have said “This is the bast pre
sentation of this subject wo have ever
heard ” and those who miss it in Wal
den will doubtless miss ono of the best
things in this conference year.
Everybody is invited to this service.
No collection trap will be set. but every
one present will have an opportunity to
‘give according as he purposeth in his
heart” to the cause of missions and the
