March 1, 1911. 3— Contestants are divided into three classes. Class No. 1 includes Lodges and Clubs, Class No. 2 includes Churches and Religious Societies, and Class No. 3 includes Schools. The three Libraries . to be awarded as principal prizes are all of the same size and value and are numbered one, two and three, not be cause of any difference in value, but to indicate the class of organizations that can compete for them. According ly the Lodge or Club receiving the high est number of votes in the contest will be declared winner of prize No. 1, the Church or Religious Society receiving the highest number of votes in the con test will be declared winner of prize No. 2 and the School receiving the highest number of votes in the contest will be declared winner of prize No. 3. 4— Care must be given to filling out blank ballots correctly, so as to leave no doubt for what organization they are intend ed. Do not vote simply “Public School,” “Catholic Church,” “Wood men Lodge” or “Knights of Pythias.” Such ballots cannot be counted, as they 3 3 are too indefinite. 3 3 5— The count showing the standing of all or- ;! ganizations will be published every 3 > Saturday in the EVENING STAR. On each week-day these ballots will be good for ten Hr votes, excepting on one day of the week,' when the ballots will be good for fifty votes. SECOND—The Wrappers, Labels or Trade Marks taken from Goods and Articles of Mer chandise listed here are good for votes. The number of votes for which each is counted appears in the list in connection with each article. Some of these labels, trade marks or wrappers are of such size and char acter that the name of the organization de sired may be written or stamped plainly thereon. In such cases write or stamp name of favorite organization on the same care fully and deposit in ballot-boxes. The size j! and character of some labels, trade marks or wrappers will not permit of this.
