This contest will extend over a period of about 90 days, and at the close of the contest some lady in Pleasantville or vicinity will be the proud possessor otf a handsome $400 piano. On page' eight of this issue will he found a full explanation of the contest, with the rules which will govern it, and a list of beautiful and useful auxiliary prizes which will be given by the pro gressive merchants of the borough. There are a great number of prizes, besides the piano, any one of which will be well worth winning, and every contestant who gets out and makes any kind of a hustle will be sure of winning a hand some prize, even if she does not win the piano. This contest is put on under the aus pices of the Publisher's Musf.c.lOo. of Chi cago, who will have eliarge of the ar rangements. This company makis a business of conducting these popular vot ing contests and at present has a num ber of them under way in this and other States. Some popular lady will have a beauti ful piano as the result of this contest, and a number of others will have beau tiful prizes of various binds. Read the rules elsewhere in this issue, inspect the offerings of the merchants, and learn how you may secure votes far yourself or friehds. Use the 25-vote coupon in this issue and oast it for some one, as it may be the starter of a winner. Fill out the nominating blank and send it or hand it in to The PleasantviUe Press office, as this may be the means of helping some deserving lady to win a handsome piano or some of the other valuable prizes enumerated in the list. This contest is without doubt the big gest business getting enterprise that has ever been presented to the people of PleasantviUe and vicinity.
