Mr. and Mrs. II. E. Severance of i tit
pelier are expecting most any day to wear
in reard to the remains of Max, their son,
which were sent out from Manila to this
country. They were placed aboard the
Sherman, but that boat was wrecked and
was not heard from for three weeks. The
cargo was transferred to another trans
port sailing for New York and the Sher
man was sent to Hong Kong for repairs.
This fact has disarranged matters bo that
it cannot be told when the transport will
reach New Y'ork.
