JScoree of Barre people can tell you
about Doan s Kidney Pills. Many a
happy citizen makes a public statement
of his experience. Here is a case of it
What better proof of merit can bo had
than such endorsement
J. . Benedict, 8 Lastern avenue,
Barre, Vt., says: "Over four years agj
l tell and severely injured my back.
From that time on 1 was troubled a
gTeat deal by pains across my loins and
kidneys. Stooping or lifting caused
great distress, and I was annoyed and
inconvenienced by lameness and a dull,
grinding ache across my kidneys. The
kidney secretions wer irregular in pass
age, highly colored and contained eedi
ment. A friend, knowing how I was
troubled, advised ma to take Doan's
Kidney Pills, and I did so. This remedy
relieved me of the pains through my
back, regulated the action of the kidneys
and greatly improved my condition.
Since then I have occasionally used
Doan's Kidney Pills and have always
been benefited by them." (Statement
given September 30, 1908.)
A Later Statement.
On May 24, 1911, Mr. Benedict was
interviewed, -and he said: "I am pleased
to confirm the statement I gave in 1908.
Doan's Kidney Pills have been very ben
eficial to me and have brought me more
benefit than any other I ever used. I
have been free from kidney trouble and
lame back since I used them."

Mrs. William Morse "of Poultney was
painfully burned last week and but for
the presence of mind of Mrs. J. Hughes,
who was with her, her condition might
have been very much worse. Mrs.
Hughes stepped from another room into
the kitchen, when a garment that hung
over the stove was found to be on fire.
Mrs. Hughes grabbed it and threw it to
wards the door, but it struck Mrs. Mor
ris and burned her about the arms and
shoulders, and her hair. Mrs. Hitches
picked up a rug and threw it over the
burning woman, thus extinguishing Ui"
blaze. It is not believed her injuries will
prove serious.
