PERRY REAL ESTATE AGCY. iig Auction Valuable WILL BE HELD AT HELD ' Wood Terrace, Bethel, Vermont, Saturday, May 23, 1914 At 1 o'clock in the afternoon, on the grounds. Bethel, Vermont, is one of the liveliest, tip-to-date, hustling towns between White River Junction and St. Albans on the Central Vermont railroad. Wood Terrace is a beautiful tract of land, located just south of the town, on the main road or street leading to Royalton, and adjoins the very desir able tract of land owned Bnd improved, with streets and cottages, by Dr. O. V. Greene. These cottages are all rented and people calling for more of the same kind. Wood Terrace is also only a few rods from the celebrated Woodbury Granite Company's plant, that employs 400 men, with a weekly pay-roll of -$6,500. This tract of land is also located well above the river, making the drainage the best to be had. A fine view, pure air, good soil, makes Wood Terrace an ideal location for that home some of you are planning for. Take notice, that Bethel, Vt., has a flowery future to look forward to. It has the graVite which is equal to Barre or any other; it also has one of the largest granite manufacturing plants in New England. Bethel is. to-day where Barre was a few short years ago, with a future just as bright. Bethel has, aside from the Woodbury Granite riant, a large creamery business that draws from the surrounding country, large lumber and tan ning companies, a solid national bank, library, grain mills, electric light company; large, well-stocked, general and special stores supply the wants of the people; a firttt-class weekly paper distributes the topics of the times; two hotels look after the wants of the tired and hungry; the schools and churches are in keeping with the general thrift and progressive spirit of the town and surrounding country, a growing business center. Bethel is sure to have more granite manufactories. What will you do with the families? Tenements are all occupied. Buy building lots, build cottages, get ready, for the town is sure to boom. A word to the workingman: Stop paying rent; buy a building lot; own your own home; be your own landlord; improve your own garden and lawn. Remember that with the large business that Bethel now enjoys, its water power and railroad advantages; the brain, backbone and bu'sinens ability of its business men, you make no mistake in investing in these building lots. When the boom that is Bure to come strikes the town, these lots will cost you big money; buy now, when you can set the price yourself. In vestors, get on the band wagon and make some easy money. All roads lead to Bethrl Saturday. May 23, 1914. FREE BUILDING LOTS One free lot will be given away with every ten lots sold. Bethel Italian Band will furnish the best of music. Karl H. Forsell, the famous cornetist from Montpelier, Vt., will also help to enliven the occasion. Come to this sale, men, women and children; a good time guaranteed. Free cigars for the gentlemen and Quimby's fine, sweet con fectionery free to the ladies and children. Remember the date, May 23, 1914. Terms at time of sale, which will be $10.00 down, balance $5.00 per lot monthly payment. ' ' WOOD BROTHERS & PAINE, OWNERS SMITH & DASHNER, Agists, C. F. SMITH, Auctionm, Barre, VI. H. M.
